Brand Keyboard

Here's something fun... if not slightly sad... The branded keyboard!

Instead of using the letter of the alphabet on the keys, it has brand logos, and obviously which key it should be corresponds with the first letter of the brand's logo - ie T for Twitter!

The designer is Ignacio Pilotto.

It's said that "The repetition of the logos used by the advertising psychology, causes us to systematically recognize the brands, getting us to recognize the logos rather than our own alphabet."

BRANDS : Adidas – Burger king – Coca Cola – Disney – Ebay – Facebook - Google – Hp – Intel – J&b – Kodak – Lacoste – Mac donald´s – Nike – O2 – Pepsi – Quaker – Rolling stone – Shell – Twitter – Unilever – Virgin – WordPress – Xerox – You tube – Zippo

What do you think?
I find it a little strange - a bit like those symbol/wingding fonts! Imagine writing your name (or anything!) with logos instead of the usual alphabet?
Or just trying to type! I suppose it's not so bad if you can touch type - you would know where the keys are - but wouldn't it be tricky for those that need to look at the keyboard?
